8 Things I Would Do Differently If I Went Bowhunting For Elk In Colorado Again – Flatline Whitetails


imageAfter making my way out to Colorado for my first ever Elk Hunting trip, and with a bow at that, I was finally in the mountains chasing after the bugling bulls of the Rocky Mountains.

It was an experience like nothing I’ve ever felt.. With every bugle that sounded off, chills ran down my spine and made me feel like I was in the promise lands.

With that said it was the most fun I have ever had and I fully enjoyed my trip. I am as thankful as I could possibly be for actually being able to harvest my first bull with a bow as well.

BUT if I were to go again here is 8 things that I would do differently:


1.) Go later in the season closer to the Rut.
